The Ace to Deuce-Friends of Battlefield Park Foundation partnership has come together better planned. Ace to Deuce CTA/NJTL has created a great space at the Dorothy Vest Tennis Center to impact the lives of kids Jackson, MS using the game of tennis as a conduit. LaPeriall Jones is passionate, driven, and determine to provide year-round opportunities to learn and grow to the children who otherwise would be left out. Friends of Battlefield Park Foundation is happy to play a role in helping Ace to Deuce realize its vision.

Dorothy Vest Tennis Center at Battlefield Park is one of, if not the most historic tennis facilities in Mississippi. It has a rich history and continues to thrive today with the NJTL’s that offer tennis programming and educational opportunities open to all Jackson youth.

I have worked with the JPS Tennis association for many years and have worked alongside many tennis players. Ace 2 Deuce has been a light for our young players and even those that are interested in becoming coaches. Last year we projected one student to go to college on a tennis scholarship with just one year of playing. Ace 2 Deuce was able to give him a chance he never knew existed.
