In the short years Ace 2 Deuce CTA has been in existence, we have valued our student-athletes voices in decisions for the different activities they would like to see at the facility and getting their feedback on what the organization and tennis means to them.
MEET THE STUDENTS
The program has taught me to not give up and always do my best. I feel like I have found a place where I belong, and I feel like I don't need to hold back. I can be myself even if I make a mistake

Being part of the program with the coaches and players there has taught me patience, self-control, and the being able to think and strive to greater heights in tough situations. Tennis is improving my work ethic making me more determined and disciplined when it comes to things i need to get done and overall makes me find a way to enjoy them. I'm really thankful for God leading me to this sport and to this family and I will strive to achieve greater things.

I like coming here alot. I never inmagined playing tennis. It has helped me with coordination and getting in shape.

Being in this program has taught me that I can't rush into learning and something take time to learn. I enjoy making new friends and playing games at the end of practice.

Ace to Deuce has helped me with tennis in so many ways. The most important way is when I'm on court. I must always be respectful and not get upset, even when I'm not playing well. They have also given me so many opportunities to play in tennis camps, tournaments, leagues, and even more opportunities off the tennis court.

My participation in the Ace to Deuces program over the years has taught me to never to stop chasing my dream and to stick together as a team no matter what's is going on. In so many different ways, tennis helps me mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Three years ago, I was new this program and I want to learn how to play. Tennis makes me happy, and I've made friends in the program. Being a part of the tennis team has taught me teamwork. I'm the youngest child & accustomed to having my way but being apart of Ace 2 Deuce has taught me to be considerate of others. I've also learned to be patient & supportive on others. It has also boosted my confidence.

My coach has taught me skills and how to handle and aim my ball. Tennis helps me to be a great student.

Being a part of the Ace 2 Deuce program has taught me the value of teamwork. If one person is down on our team we will all step up to cheer for the person down. Makes me feel proud to be part of the tennis team. Tennis has helped me personally by teaching me to take things one at a time. Just like in tennis, you have to tackle life one point at a time.
