BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Maya May was born in Monroe, LA and relocated to Mississippi in 2009 to attend Tougaloo College, where she received her B.S. degree in Biology. She also has a M.S. in Sport Science/Strength & Conditioning from Jackson State University and a M.Ed in Educational Administration and Supervision from Delta State University. Tennis has always been a passion of hers as she played on her middle and high school tennis team, as well as, college team at Tougaloo. In 2017, she began teaching in Jackson Public Schools and coaching tennis on the middle school level. Years later, due to the lack of effective middle school coaches, the program dissolved and she became the head coach at Callaway High School. Ace2Deuce is one of the pieces of the puzzle that has helped her team rise to city championship status and state-level qualification for the past two years.
